Project Title

Garden Pavilion, Beaulieu House, County Louth

Ongoing conservation of a glasshouse and pavilion dating from the early nineteenth century. The timber and glass structure was in a poor state of repair. Works initiated in 2017 included repair of the roof and of the portico. Little original fabric remained of the portico and remaining features were integrated into a carefully considered new portico following Classical precedents.

Project Title

NIAH Inventory of Historic Gardens and Designed Landscapes

Over the past 12 years Lotts Architecture has carried out 5 garden surveys commissioned by the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage (NIAH). The survey involved recording on site of approximately 1,000 demesnes, submitted in an NIAH database.
